2019 Baden Invite All-Tournament Team Announced

St. Louis, Mo., October 13, 2019 –Seven top performers have been named to the 2019 Baden Invitational All-Tournament Team. The Baden Invitational was hosted by Washington University in St. Louis on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12. 

After helping their squads to a 3-0 weekend, University of Wisconsin-Stout's Kara Simonson and Steph Cannon, as well as WashU senior Zoe Baxter and sophomore Michaela Bach collected all-tournament honors. This is Baxter's third Baden Invitational All-Tournament Team award. 

Joining them on the team is Neenah Primas of Lakeland University, Ashley Farris of Monmouth College and Dayjah Whyte of University of Dallas.  

Dayjah Whyte, Dallas– In 16 sets: 15 block assists, 0.94 blocks/set; .230 hit % (35 kills, 12 errors, 100 total attempts), 2.19 kills/set

Ashley Farris (Monmouth)– In 8 sets: .386 hit %, (26 kills, 4 errors, 57 total attempts); 3.25 kills/set

Neenah Primas (Lakeland)– In 12 sets: 109 assists, 9.08 assists/set

Kara Simonson (UW-Stout)– In 10 sets: .439 hit % (22 kills, 4 errors, 41 total attempts); 2.20 kills/set; 4 total blocks (1 solo, 3 block assists)

Steph Cannon (UW-Stout)– In 10 sets: 54 digs, 5.40 digs/set; 3 service aces

Zoe Baxter (WashU)– In 11 sets: 54 digs, 4.91 digs/set; 14 assists

Michaela Bach (WashU)– In 7 sets: .339 hit % (24 kills, 3 errors, 62 total attempts), 3.43 kills/set; 26 digs, 3.71 digs/set; 2 service aces
