Newport, R.I., Sept. 15, 2018 – Washington University in St. Louis seniors Konrad Kozlowski and Radha Vishnubhotla each posted three-set singles wins Saturday to advance to the championship match of the Arthur Ashe Flight at the 2018 Hall of Fame ITA Grass Court Invitational, held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I.
Kozlowski rallied from a one-set deficit for a 6-7, 6-0, 1-0 (7) victory over Jake Williams of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, while Vishnubhotla defeated Wilson Lambeth of Trinity (Texas) 6-3, 6-7 (2), 1-0 (6).
Vishnubhotla and junior Bernardo Neves teamed up for an 8-4 win over Patel/Yang of Bowdoin in the Woodbridge/Woodforde Flight. Vishnubhotla has a 4-0 combined record in tournament play.
The final day of play begins at 10 a.m. (ET) on Sunday.
